It is with great sadness that the family of Narciso Mundido Sian announces his passing on Monday, April 27, 2020, at the age of 82 years. Nonoy, as he was fondly called by his friends and family, was born in Manila, Philippines where he attended Colegio de San Juan de Letran and University of Santo Tomas, enjoyed a 30-year career in insurance, and met the love of his life, Fe Esperanza. In 1990, he and his family immigrated to Chicago to join his siblings, Rosalia and Antonio (Elizabeth). In 2001, he retired from M&M Mars and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and traveling, especially to visit his friends and family back home in the Philippines. He loved bowling, mahjong, line dancing and karaoke, but most of all, he loved making people smile and laugh. In addition to his wife of 51 years and his siblings, Nonoy will be forever loved by his children, Rosanna, Teresa (Troy) Navarrete, and Gina (Patrick), and his grandchildren Regine, Paolo, Justin, and Lauren. Nonoy will also be lovingly missed by his numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. His jovial spirit and songs of love will forever echo in our hearts. The family will have a private viewing immediately followed by an interment at St. Mary Cemetery in Evergreen Park, Illinois. His Facebook page will remain open and all are welcome to post memories and final words to him there.
